Direct Deposit is the single most convenient way to receive your paycheck! Most employers offer Direct Deposit of the employees net paycheck. Direct Deposit puts your net pay directly into your Checking or Savings account automatically. With Direct Deposit you can leave all the work to the credit union and know your money is in your account on or before the day it’s due. And, with Direct Deposit we are able to automatically transfer any amount to make loan payments or deposits to savings accounts. You can even make automatic transfers to family member accounts with direct deposit.
What kind of payment can be directly deposited?

2. Social Security Retirement and Benefits
3. Military Retirement and Benefits
4. Civil Service Retirement (Pension)
5. Disability Benefits
6. Supplemental Security Income

PAYROLL DEDUCTION
Payroll deduction is a convenient way to start and maintain a savings program. Saving through payroll deduction is effective because you pay yourself first.
Payroll deduction allows you to have a portion of your payroll check deducted and sent to the Credit Union. Any amount you wish can be deducted to make loan payments and/or deposits to Share, Money Market, IRA, Christmas Club or Checking accounts. Payroll deductions can be divided among as many accounts as you wish...deposit to your Share account, your children’s accounts, loan payments, etc.
Payroll deduction is only available if your payroll office supports the service. To find out if you are eligible for payroll deduction, contact the Credit Union or your payroll office.
AUTOMATIC PAYMENT
Automatic payment is a service that allows you to automatically transfer payments from a Summit Credit Union checking or deposit account to your Summit Credit Union VISA Credit Card or loan account. With this service, you can make recurring VISA Credit Card or loan payments on an established day of the month or payment frequency. The amount and date of the transfer will remain the same until you instruct otherwise.
WIRE TRANSFER SERVICES
In order to accommodate members who occasionally have an urgent need to send money fast, the Credit Union offers Wire Transfer Services. The Credit Union can receive and send wire transfers.
The cost to send a wire transfer is only $15.00 in the US and $35.00 for international wires. If you need to send a Western Union wire transfer, the cost is determined by the amount transferred.
To make a wire transfer, contact an MSR with the following details:
1. Receiving Institution’s name and ABA routing number
2. Receiving person’s name and account number
3. Other relevant information if necessary
Wire transfers are usually completed by 3:00 pm daily. Requests for transfers after 3:00 pm cannot be completed until the following day.
There is NO CHARGE to wire funds from another financial institution to your Summit Credit Union account.
Funds may be wired to your account by providing the financial institution wiring your funds the following information:

NIGHT DEPOSIT SERVICE
For your convenience, we have night deposit vaults located outside most of our credit union branches. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be used for deposits or loan payments. You can deposit checks or cash by using envelopes provided at the night deposit station. Deposits are collected once a day. Deposits made after they are collected will be posted the next business day. Your deposits are retrieved from our night deposit vault by two Credit Union employees under strict dual control. Cash or check, you can rest easy that your deposits are safe.
