Affidavit of Membership
If I have selected eligibility for membership in Summit Credit Union located in North Carolina, I am first duly sworn and state I am eligible for Membership in Summit Credit Union as required by the by-laws of the Credit Union as an employee or member or student of one of the employers, associations, or universities, colleges, or schools listed on the membership eligibility page; or, I live or work in Granville County, NC; or, I am a relative of an existing member of Summit Credit Union in good standing; or, I live in the same residence with an existing member of Summit Credit Union in good standing; or I am a widow or widower of a former member of Summit Credit Union.
I understand that making a false sworn statement is subject to federal and/or state statutes and may be punishable by fines and/or imprisonment. (General Statute 14.100 - Obtaining Services Under False Pretense)
Summit Education Association
Summit Education Association was formed to promote education among Summit Credit Union members by providing educational opportunities through scholarships. A limited number of Educational Scholarships are offered each school year to Summit Credit Union members and their immediate families. 100% of the fees and other contributions for the Summit Education Association are used to fund the scholarships.
Summit Education Association is a Business Partner of Summit Credit Union. Therefore, people outside of the credit union's normal field of membership can join the Association and thereby become eligible to join Summit Credit Union. North Carolina residents (only) may join the Association by paying a one-time $20 lifetime membership fee. Individuals must have a valid North Carolina identification card or driver's license to be eligible to join the Association.
