Empower Your Financial Savvy

Through our free workshops members learn practical tips on how to reach goals and improve their personal finances.

My CU Club has been developed to reward those members who support Summit Credit Union with their deposits, loans, and by making Summit Credit Union their primary or only financial institution.

Members may qualify to receive club benefits among two Club Categories, age-based and relationship-based. Member participation in a My CU Club (club status) is determined automatically at the end of each month. The club status appears for each member in Digital Banking, on the “Accounts” tab, near the top, and on periodic savings and loan statements.

Age-Based Clubs

Age-based clubs are determined by the member’s biological age. See the Fees and Limits page for a list of services with reduced or waived fees and limits.

Service Types

Service Types are the number of categorically unique services (accounts) a member has. The service type categories and any specific services within them are listed below. For example, both Membership Savings (Share) and Special Savings would together count as one service type, while Membership Savings and Christmas Club would count as two.

Qualifying Balance

The Qualifying Balance is the total of all Summit Credit Union deposits balances and loan balances for each member. All individual account balances apply, even if they are the same service type. The only exception will be that any loans more than ten days past due will not count.

Linking Accounts

Spouses or life partners residing at the same address can link their accounts so the balances for both members will be combined as the Qualifying Balance for determining each member's club status. Just let us know which account you want linked to your primary account. Keep in mind, the number of Service Types for each member will not be combined, even when accounts are linked. To link accounts, call or text our Member Service Call Center at 336-662-6200 or visit any branch.
