These Membership and Account Agreements and Disclosures ("Agreement") is the contract which covers your and our rights and responsibilities concerning Membership and Account(s) offered to you. In this Agreement, the words "you" and "yours" mean those who sign the Account Application Card ("Member Services Signature Card") or approve an electronic application. The words "we," "us," and "our" mean the Summit Credit Union ("Credit Union"). The word "account" means any one or more deposit accounts you have with the Credit Union.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means to you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
